How To Use - Tournament Parser


Using Tournament Parser with PokerStars

1. Open PokerStars Application
2. From the "Requests" menu in PokerStars choose "Playing History Audit..." (Audit file must be in English.)
3. Fill in the information requested on this page. You must choose Report Format as "Text (CSV)"
4. Open Tournament Parser application
5. From the "PokerStars" menu in Tournament Parser choose "Open Playing History Audit File"
6. Enter the link that PokerStars sent to you in your email
Example

7. Enter the password that you used for the Audit File.
8. Use the filter option or remove any touranments that are not needed.
9. Click the "Rail" tab at the top of Tournament Parser to generate your rail.

Note:
Finish position will always show 0/? because that data is not within the PokerStars Audit File.

Using Tournament Parser with Full Tilt Poker


1. Open FTP application.
2. From the "Requests" menu in FTP application, choose "Check My Tournament History (Internet)"
3. You will be taken to a website that shows your tournament history. Right click on the page and choose view source.
4. You will be taken to a website that shows a bunch of code. To select all of the code on the page, hold the CTRL key down on your keyboard and press the A key. Next, copy the whole page by either right clicking with the mouse and choosing copy or hold the CTRL key and press the "C" key.
5. Open Tournament Parser
6. From the "Full Tilt Poker" menu in Tournament Parser choose "Paste History File"
7. In the box, right click using your mouse and choose "Paste" or hold the CTRL key and press the "V" key. This will paste the source from the FTP tournament history page.
8. Press the OK button and your tournament history will now show in Tournament Parser.

Note:
1. FTP will only show your past 7 days of tournament history so it is important to keep us with updating your FTP rail.

Using Tournament Parser with Party Poker

1. Open Party Poker Application
2. Choose My Account / Transaction History / Tournament Buy In History for Completed Tournaments.
3. Fill in the information requested on this page.
4. To select all of the information on the page, hold the CTRL key down on your keyboard and press the "A" key. Next, copy the whole page by either right clicking with the mouse and choosing "copy" or hold the CTRL key and press the "C" key.
5. Open Tournament Parser application.
6. From the "Party Poker" menu in Tournament Parser choose "Paste History File"
7. In the box right click using your mouse and choose "Paste" or hold the CTRL key and press the "V" key. This will paste the source from the FTP tournament history page.
8. Press the OK button. Your tournament history will now show in Tournament Parser.
9. Use the filter option or remove any touranments that are not needed.
10. Click the "Rail" tab at the top of Tournament Parser to generate your rail.

Note:
You can only get tournaments played within the last 30 days.

Using Tournament Parser with IPoker skins

1. Open IPoker Application
2. Click on "My Account" in top left of the client. A seperate window will appear titled "Cashier"
3. From the "My account" tab in that screen, select "Tournament History"
4. To select all of the information in the email, hold the CTRL key down on your keyboard and press the "A" key. Next, copy the whole page by either right clicking with the mouse and choosing "copy" or hold the CTRL key and press the "C" key.
5. From the "IPoker" menu in Tournament Parser choose "Paste History File"
6. In the box right click using your mouse and choose "Paste" or hold the CTRL key and press the "V" key. This will paste the source from the FTP tournament history page.
7. Press the OK button. Your tournament history will now show in Tournament Parser.

Note:
You can only get tournaments played within the last 30 days or the last 50 tournaments played.

Using Tournament Parser with Merge Network

1. From the merge loby press the "Player Admin" button at the bottom.
2. You will be taken to a website on the left hand side click the link for "Ledger History".
3. You will be taken to a page that shows your tournament history. To select all of the tournament history on the page, hold the CTRL key down on your keyboard and press the A key. Next, copy the whole page by either right clicking with the mouse and choosing copy or hold the CTRL key and press the "C" key.
4. Open Tournament Parser
5. From the "Merge" menu in Tournament Parser choose "Paste Tournament History"
6. In the box, right click using your mouse and choose "Paste" or hold the CTRL key and press the "V" key. This will paste the tournament history from the "Ledger History" page.
7. Press the OK button and your tournament history will now show in Tournament Parser.
8. Use the filter option or remove any touranments that are not needed.
9. Click the "Rail" tab at the top of Tournament Parser to generate your rail.
Note:
Currently First/Bust hands will not not work for Merge Network.
Satellite wins and usage of tickets must be traced manually. Currently merge does not include this info in there ledger history.

Using Tournament Parser with Cake

1. Send the following email to support@cakepoker.com

 "Please send me a .xls spreadsheet of my tournament history from 4/27/2011 - 4/28/2011. Plese include all available columns. I would also like to suggest that an option be added to request this file from the Cake client.  Thanks"
2. Open the email from cake and save the attached  .xls file to your hard drive.
3. Open Tournament Parser
4. From the "Cake" menu in Tournament Parser choose "Open Audit File"
5. Find the .xls file that you saved to your hard drive and click the open button.
6. Press the OK button and your tournament history will now show in Tournament Parser.
6. Use the filter option or remove any touranments that are not needed.
7. Click the "Rail" tab at the top of Tournament Parser to generate your rail.

Note:
Currently First/Bust hands will not not work for Cake.

Bounties are not included in the file sent from Cake you will need to request this info and enter it manually.

Steps for posting rail to forum

1. Select "Post the rail to Forum" from the rail menu in Tournament Parser.
2. In the box next to "Thread URL", enter the actual link to your rail. Example http://forum.parttimepoker.com/staking-rail/295020-sega317s-rail-5-50-private-sega317-whitecow.html
3. The box next to "Post ID" only needs to be filled out if you are appending to an existing post or overwriting an existing post.
To find the post ID, click the permalink on in the post on your forum.
In keeping with our example, go to http://forum.parttimepoker.com/staking-rail/295020-sega317s-rail-5-50-private-sega317-whitecow.html
and look at the very last post. To the right, you will see "#11 (permalink)". Clicking on it will take you to http://forum.parttimepoker.com/staking-rail/295020-sega317s-rail-5-50-private-sega317-whitecow.html#post7520356
You will find the post ID 7520356 at the very end.
You will not have to search for the post ID for subsequent new posts as it will be automatically filled in for you from the prior instance.
